At Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling, we know that you work hard for your money. We know this because we work hard for ours. We’ve proudly served over 1 million customers in Tucson. During our 34 years in the business, we’ve learned quite a bit about our customers, what their needs are, and how we can best serve them. In the 34 years, when it comes to issues that worry our customers, one thing has not changed: pricing.

Our customers want the best pricing and they want the best service possible. That’s why we created free, no obligation, estimates and a 3 tiered pricing system. Our pricing is designed specifically to meet most of our customers’ needs.

How It Works

We have found that due to the nature of our industry, and the unique needs of our customers, no two jobs are ever alike. There have been instances where we thought it was a simple job and it turned out to be complex; and vice versa. Because we don’t know what we’re dealing with, we do not offer pricing over the phone. This is why we created our free estimate program; so that we can accurately quote our customers for the job that needs to be completed.

When the techs come out, they’ll assess the situation and provide you with 3 different quotes.

Good

Bare Minimum
$
  • This solution offers a temporary fix to the immediate issue at hand. It is not intended to be a permanent solution. It’s purpose is to buy time so that a more permanent solution can be agreed upon.

  • Typically, the most common reason why people choose this quote is because of financial constraints. This gives our customers a chance to gather the funds needed in order to provide a permanent solution.

  • By providing our customers with this option, we are able to help solve the immediate need; even if it’s just temporarily. We find that our customers appreciate the ability to at least have some sort of resolution while they do what’s needed to provide for a more permanent solution.

Better

Permanent Fix
$$
  • This solution is designed to be a permanent fix to the issue at hand. After careful diagnostics, our techs will propose a permanent solution that will solve the issue and help ensure that it doesn’t come back.

  • Probably one of our more popular options, this quote solves the issue and provides our customers with peace of mind. We work hard to ensure that it’s an affordable solution.

  • Customers who went with the Good quote will typically call us back to perform, at a minimum, the Better quote once they are able to gather funds.

  • The goal of this quote is to provide our customers with an affordable and permanent solution that meets their needs.

Best

Bells and Whistles
$$$
  • This is the best of the quotes. Not only do we fix the current issue at hand, we also perform any additional maintenance and/or service(s) needed to ensure your equipment is running properly and smoothly.

  • Our Best quote was designed after numerous customer requests. We’ve had customers ask us, “How did this issue happen?” “What can I do to prevent this issue?” and “How do I make my equipment last so that I don’t have to face costly repairs?”

  • We quickly realized that our customers wanted more than just for us to fix the issue at hand. Our customers appreciate that when they go with our Best quote, we troubleshoot for anything else that may go wrong, make the necessary recommendations, and nip problems in the bud before any issues arise.

Fixed Pricing

Designed with our customers in mind, all of our quotes are fixed pricing. We do not charge by the hour. What this offers our customers is peace of mind. Regardless of whether it takes 30 minutes or 4 hours, there is no difference in the charge. This allows our technicians the autonomy to do what is needed to fix the issue without fear of time constraints or having to bill our customers for additional time needed to do the job properly.

Questions about Payments and Financing?

When our technicians come out to give you your free estimate, they will also talk to you about payment options that are available.

Most jobs can be completed in one visit. This, of course, is contingent that no part(s)/permit(s)/equipment needs to be ordered. If we do need to order part(s)/permit(s)/equipment for the job, we will schedule and complete the job as soon as the necessary part(s)/permit(s)/equipment becomes available.

For large repairs, installations, replacements, or higher ticket items, we do require 50% down prior to scheduling and then the other 50% upon completion of the job (unless other arrangements are made and approved prior to scheduling).

All jobs are payable upon completion of the job. If you are not at the job site when the job is complete, a member of our team will contact you to collect payment.

Other Fees

At Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling, we pride ourselves on being transparent with our customers. In rare instances, additional fees may apply. If there are any additional fees, a member of our team will inform you prior to scheduling the appointment.

Kenneth was Great! Not only was he up front and honest about why we should replace our current water heater, he took his time to inform us what working parts he was going to update and total cost it would be. He used his time to do a professional job and made sure every new part installed, worked properly. As a matter of fact, during the water filling up the new water heater he made a statement that the tank shouldn’t take that long to fill up. He went around to the side of the house and tested the water pressure. Kenneth found that our water pressure regulater was defective. He came back the next morning and replaced and updated that section of our plumbing also. Both my wife and I are very happy that our water heater doesn’t leak anymore and no more low water pressure.
