Santa 2017

Whoa, Santa!

Are you planning on taking your kids to see Santa this holiday season? If so, have you considered taking them to see Tucson’s largest Santa? You should!

Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling is proud to be the owner of Tucson’s largest Santa (if you find a larger one somewhere, we’d love to hear from you).

Putting Santa together for the holiday season was no easy feat. Our crew had to get on a crane, remove his hat, and get him dressed. We even included photos so that you can see how Big Ed transitioned into Santa Claus.

We invite you and your family to visit Santa.

Conveniently located off of I-10, we will be open from 7am – 7pm starting December 11th – 22nd for anyone who wants to come and see/take pictures with Santa. Be sure to come inside for a sweet treat and hot cocoa.

Your child can also drop off their letter to Santa (we have a special North Pole mailbox inside) and Santa will personally write them back (letters are due prior to December 20th to ensure that Santa receives them in time and is able to respond).

Again, Santa is available for visits starting December 11th – 22nd from 7am – 7pm (Monday – Friday).

Plan your visit today. We hope to see you and your family soon.

Big Ed is Frankenstein

What’s in the crate? Frankenstein!

Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling is excited to announce that Big Ed will be dressed up as Frankenstein for Halloween!

The head of Frankenstein (seen in the photo on the left) arrived today in a large wooden crate that stands over 6 feet tall.

Since Kevin, owner of Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling, purchased and installed Big Ed two years ago, he’s been dressing him up in a Santa suit for the Christmas holiday.

This year, Kevin decided that in addition to Santa, Big Ed will also be dressed up for various holidays throughout the year.

“We’re going to have to get a crane out here to install the head,” said Kevin, “but we’re excited to see it up. This thing is at least 5 feet tall and will be a monster to put up (no pun intended).”

The entire company is excited to see the head installed; especially since Big Ed is such a big part of the company culture.

“Anyone is welcome to come by and take photos with Big Ed. We look forward to getting more heads and costumes for him as time passes,” said Kevin.

The date of the head installation has not been decided; nor has the rest of Big Ed’s Frankenstein costume. What we do know is that Big Ed will undergo “surgery” and transform for the holidays as appropriate. Unfortunately, Big Ed will not be dressed up for Halloween 2017, however, we plan to have him dressed up for 2018 and beyond.

Drivers heading both north and southbound on I-10 will be able to see him on the west side of the highway.

Stay tuned for more details.
